Admiral Dekori led the Captain and her Executive Officer further into the complex after leaving the rest of the Captain's team behind with some Drekkonian guards. "So," He began, "Welcome to New Dekor," He said. "I am sorry that there isn't time for a more formal reception, however, the city has a number of problems."

They went further into the complex before coming to the Council Chambers where the other three Admirals were waiting. "Admirals," He said as he stepped to the side, "I present to you Captain Neela Izal and Commander Iazil Naadel of the Federation."

"We've met," Trovark pointed out with a smile on his face, "I was in my office when an aide explained the presence of a communication trying to reach us here in the city. I thought it prudent that we conduct... What did you call it Captain?"

Neela placed her hands behind her back and interlocked her fingers, "I called it first contact," She answered him. "For the Federation meeting new species is one of the highest honors we can have bestowed upon us as Federation members.

"The organization I'm part of is called Starfleet and the Federation is a massive union of thousands of member worlds. We work together for mutual scientific and defensive purposes." She told the Admirals, "When we colonized this world we had no idea that another culture already lived here."

Ravolar looked over the edge of her section of table towards the two officers in front of them. She allowed for a slight smile to appear over her face, "The Drekkonian culture doesn't share the same goal of meeting new species. And, we didn't know that anyone was on the planet.

"The last we knew was of an alien culture known as the Ivaldians," She pointed out. "We only know that they were not a spacefaring race and so kept to ourselves. It is only recently that we learned of their disappearance from this world."

Dalin addressed the two officers next, "Tell me more about how you came to colonize this world?" He asked, "Trovark said that there had been a massive change, but I don't know if you fully elaborated that." He looked over at Trovark.

"I don't believe they did," He said.

Iazil stepped forward this time, "The short version is that in the year twenty-three eighty-three the Federation starship Eyak, which was commanded by Captain Jodrel Vidal, discovered the Ivaldian star system. Starfleet constructed a fleet yard and the planet was colonized.

"Last year the planet was attacked by the Ortani. The Belphans, Fin'ul, and Celestians helped us resolve this crisis, but at the cost of the planet being moved forward in time and to another location. It's now the year twenty-three ninety-four and we are in the Delta Quadrant." She concluded.

Dalin leaned over and whispered quietly into Dekori's ear, "They've met the Belphans," He said. "How do you want to handle this?"

Dekori raised his hand, "We've never heard of the Belphans," He said. "But, if we are no longer in the Alpha Quadrant what is the state of the planet now?"

"The planet is in bad shape," Neela answered honestly. "We're trying to stabilize the core right now, but much of that work has been tedious as we attempt to find the best solution. The planetary system we are in now has a functional starbase.

"If we need to evacuate the planet we can at least do so," She concluded. "That was before we had knowledge of your city." She frowned, "Trovark mentioned that there were some issues here that we may be able to help you with."

Ravolar answered, "There is a plague going on in one of our residential districts. We have yet to find a solution to this plague, but if Trovark thinks you could help then you could at least start there."

"Yes," Dalin said.

Ravolar looked at Dalin before she continued, "However, we do not wish to see your people affected by the disease. So, it will be out of bounds during your stay here in the city. You're welcome to invite other officers to the city as well now that we know you're on the planet."

Dekori spoke up next, "I would like it if you could have one of your officers check into a slight problem we are having with supply routes throughout the city. There seems to be some missing cargo, so if you have time to check into that you could."

Dalin eyed Dekori, "I don't know that it would really be necessary, I mean we could solve the problem easy enough."

Trovark found Dalin's reluctance to be a bit strange, "I think we could let them at least have a look." He said then looked at the Captain, "We can also see to it that you have access to parts of the archive. Perhaps there is a solution there to the planetary crisis?"

"Perhaps," Dekori said, "I'll see to it that sections of the archives are made available. And, if your people need a break from the surface of the planet then there are plenty of things for them to come and see down here. Perhaps we can find a quicker way to get your people back and forth for the future?" He asked.

"We do have those sub-surface vessels that are specifically designed for the pressures down here," Trovark suggested.

Dalin nodded, "Ah yes," He said. "We welcome you to New Dekor."

Dekori clapped her hands together, "I understand that you've brought a Doctor with you. Ravolar if you could please go see to it that their Doctor is escorted to the medical labs. I have some other things to handle."

"I can do that," Ravolar said and left.

Dalin grinned, "I'll see to it that the rest of the officers you brought down are escorted on a tour," He said. "And, please convey our intent to be very open and welcoming to the rest of your Federation Captain." He said then he followed Ravolar out of the chambers.

Dekori was right behind Dalin, "Yes, welcome to the city. I shall go see to it that the archives are ready."

Trovark watched as the last of them left before he walked over to the Captain and looked over her shoulder. "All right," He said quietly, "If you would both come with me over here." He said and walked them to the opposite side of the chamber. "That went better than expected."

Neela raised a brow, "Why do you say that?"

Trovark shook his head, "That is a conversation better for somewhere else. I'll meet you both in about two hours at my flat." He said.

Neela raised a brow, "All right," She said.

Trovark extended a Drekkonian datapad, "Here is the address." He said, "If anyone asks tell them that I'm giving you a personal tour of the city." He then left them in the chambers alone.

"What do you think he meant by that Captain?" Iazil asked as soon as they were alone.

"I don't know," Neela answered, "But, I think we're going to find out in two hours." She said.
