Sadie continued to try and treat Leah after having treated the various cuts and bruises that Elizabeth had suffered from. "Your Mom said she's on her way and your Dad is staying with your brothers." She said, "Your brothers made it to the planet in the evacuation without too many problems."

Leah smiled, "I figured," She said quietly while looking at her leg. Her chest was still mildly tender, "It didn't feel too good you know..." She said and gingerly rubbed her chest where the tail had hit her. "At all," She said.

Elizabeth leaned over the bed after already having been treated, "I'm just glad it wasn't worse than what it ended up being."

Leah reached out and took Elizabeth's hand, "Thank you for staying with me," She told the other girl.

Elizabeth grinned, "I figured it was the least I could do," She said while still nursing a slight headache. She wasn't too impressed that the girls had separated themselves from the rest of the group. But, at least nobody was seriously hurt.

Merissa had finally made her way into the room and almost collapsed when she saw the seven-year-old girl laying there on the biobed. She breathed a sigh of relief, "What were you thinking?" She asked the girl laying there and looked towards Elizabeth, "Thank you so much," She said and then gave her daughter another stern look, "What on earth were you girls thinking?"

Leah's face turned bright pink, "I'm sorry Mom." She said.

Elizabeth smiled, "It's no problem we didn't know they had been separated from the rest of us. But, at least they weren't too badly hurt," She said and looked at Leah through the corner of her eye, "I'm sorry that she got hit by the dinosaur's tail Missus Reade."

Merissa was still tending to her daughter by looking underneath the girl's shirt to see the bruising, "It's not your fault dear," She said through the corner of her mouth. She looked towards Sadie, "How bad?"

Sadie placed her hands in front of her, "Leah had a couple broken ribs, some of them were cracked, and she broke her leg. I've managed to heal the broken bones and some of the bruising. She's going to be sore for at least a couple days so definitely no strenuous activities."

Leah was still pink in the cheeks, "We just wanted to see a dinosaur," She said. "I didn't think anything of it so we went along... I'm sorry Mom... I didn't mean for anybody to get hurt."

Merissa eyed her daughter sternly, "You're lucky that Elizabeth and Adriana realized that you weren't there. And, that they risked their lives to come back and save you guys," She said with the same level of sternness. Her voice softened up and she looked back towards Doctor Potter, "How seriously were the others hurt?"

Sadie smiled softly, "Leah took the worst of it. The others had some minor scratches. Elizabeth strained herself a little bit and had to be given some medication for a headache," She said while looking at Elizabeth. "They'll all recover from it."

Elizabeth scratched the back of her head, "The headaches are normal when I have to use my abilities constantly. I'm fine otherwise," She said then looked towards both Leah and Merissa, "We just wanted to make sure everyone got off the station safely."

Leah was being sheepish at that point, "Thanks," She mentioned. "Am I grounded?" She asked her mother while half expecting the worst possible punishment.

"You're not," Merissa said softly to her daughter, "But, from now on I would really appreciate it if you would be a bit more careful please. Your father was worried sick when we found out that you'd been hurt. And, your brothers haven't stopped pacing... It was all I could do to get them to not try and come to the medical center."

"They could have," Sadie told her.

Merissa shook her head, "I've seen how many people are down here right now they'd have just gotten in the way. I understand that even the infirmary on the station had a dinosaur problem?" She questioned.

Elizabeth hadn't heard that, "Oh?" She raised her brow.

Sadie nodded, "Yeah there was. Most of the station has been evacuated while they try and figure out where the problem is. It's pretty crazy up there right now and I understand not wanting your sons to get in the way." She stated.

Merissa looked from Leah to Sadie, "When will she be discharged?"

Sadie thought it over, "I'd like to keep her overnight for observation. Much of her injuries have been fixed and no internal injuries came up when we checked her over. But, I'd rather play it safe as opposed to taking any risks with her. If you don't mind?"

Leah flopped her arms, "Overnight?" She pouted, "I don't want to stay here overnight..." She groaned and slumped slightly on the biobed. She had the room to herself at least, but she had really wished the Doctor didn't say that because she knew how her mother was.

Elizabeth stood up, "I'll leave you with your Mom now that she's here. I really should make sure that my Dad knows that I'm at least safe." She started to depart from the room.

"Please stay," Leah begged...

Sadie looked between the girls and Merissa, "I've already let Commander de Planca know your in here. He would have came to the medical center himself, but he's on the station trying to help contain the situation."

Merissa shrugged, "I don't mind if you stay in here Elizabeth." She told the other girl.

Elizabeth turned around and returned to the side of the biobed before pulling up a chair. "Okay," She said without giving any further argument. "Okay I'll stay." She concluded and leaned back into the chair.

Leah smiled, "Thank you," She whispered before looking at her Mom. "Do I really have to stay overnight?" Leah asked.

"Yes," Merissa said after having returned to her stern expression. "I will return shortly I'm going to go let your father know that you are okay and that Doctor Potter is keeping you overnight." She said and kissed her daughter on the top of her forehead before leaving the room.

Leah groaned again, "Okay," She stated in defeat.

"Maybe I can get my sister to bring a board game later?" Elizabeth suggested, "Would that cheer you up a little bit Leah?"

Leah grinned, "Yes!"

Sadie completed another quick check on the girl before deciding to leave her be. "I'll come back later to check on you." She said and then left the room so that the two girls and Merissa could have the room to themselves for a little bit. The girl was certainly lucky... That was all Sadie could think anyway.
