Jami kicked her feet in front of her as she watched the small ripples of the water. With such a wonderful planet below them it was hard to imagine the need for an arboretum, but at least it provided her with an escape. Her mother had been reassigned to the station, but they still lived on the planet below.

Tyler had been standing behind Jami for sometime, "How about getting something to eat?" He asked of his girlfriend and pointed over his shoulder. He took a few more steps forward and leaned over the ledge where she was sitting with a grin on his face. "We could get pasta at the Italian place?"

Jami looked over her shoulder towards Tyler and smiled, "Sure," She said with a shrug of her shoulders. She spun around and took him by the hand, "Let's go," She remarked. Jami had a great deal on her mind after the incident and her kidnapping.

She had barely spoken to her mother about it since her friends and her had been rescued. Jami had barely spoken to Tyler about it as well. "Thank you," She said finally without looking towards him. Her focus was straight towards the direction that they were walking.

Tyler eyed her for a moment, "For what?" He asked while swinging their arms back and forth. They had boarded the turbolift, "Promenade," He stated as he turned around to face the opposite direction.

"For not pestering me about what happened," She said with a shrug of her shoulders as she listened to the hum of the turbolift. "I know you've thought about it and are curious," She said and adjusted so that she was facing him. "Sorry for reading your thoughts I know I shouldn't do that..."

Tyler had a grin on his face as the turbolift came to a halt and he pulled her out into the short passageway into the bustling promenade. It was obnoxiously crowded and he came to a stop, "Wow... I wasn't expecting it to be quite this busy," He said and looked at her.

"It's okay if you read my thoughts. I have been curious about what happened, but I also know that you need your space. At least, that's what your Mom told me when we talked about it," Tyler said while deciding whether he still wanted to drag her through the crowd of people.

Jami smiled as she looked towards the crowd of people, "When did you talk to my Mom?"

Tyler had finally decided his hunger was greater than his desire to not go through the crowd of people. "I talked to her yesterday," He said without looking towards her. Instead he had placed himself in front of her and kept her hand in his. "I hope that's okay?"

Jami was attempting to not bump into anyone as they weaved through the crowd of people, "Of course it's okay," She told him. Eventually she spotted the Italian restaurant that didn't look too overly crowded. "I guess this was the correct choice for dinner," She mentioned.

Tyler led her inside, "I figured it wouldn't be too bad," He said and shrugged his shoulders. "Anyway, I asked your Mom what she thought about talking to you about what happened and she thought it best to wait for you to talk about your experience. Of course, she probably would say the same thing about the other stuff too."

"Hello welcome table for two?" The Hostess asked them.

Jami nodded, "Please," She said.

The Hostess smiled and led them back towards one of the empty tables, "Your waitress will be Yvonne and she will be with you shortly," The Hostess remarked and scurried away.

Jami had sat down, "What other stuff are you referring to?" She asked with her head slightly tilted to the side.

Tyler shrugged his shoulders, "I mean what happened a few months ago," He said quietly. He had picked up the menu, "You've never really told me what happened and that's okay," He said. "It's really not my business anyway, but I really wanted to help you through it."

Jami smiled softly, "Oh that," She said then her expression changed to something more neutral. "I just got through it myself and with my friends I didn't want to worry my Mom or you," She told him. She had chosen what she wanted.

Yvonne came to them with two glasses of water, "Here you go," She said and placed it in front of them. She then continued to speak, "Have you decided what you would like this evening?"

Tyler looked up towards Jami, "You first?" He asked and waited.

Jami nodded, "I'll have the Spinach Fettuccine Alfredo." She had requested then fell silent so that Tyler could order.

"Shrimp Linguine." He ordered.

Yvonne wrote both orders down then made herself scarce in order to go put the two orders in with the chef.

Jami then continued to speak, "It's nothing that I would want to talk about over dinner. And, if I understand what Counselor Stevenson said during our sessions since the torture that had supposedly happened in this alternate reality thing never actually happened she thought I was fine." Jami shrugged her shoulders.

"And, she's right I am fine," Jami confirmed.

Tyler nodded and grinned, "I was thankful when I was told that you were never hurt," He stated. "Both cases you weren't physically hurt. Though, I guess I never understood what the purpose was to your kidnapping or the other girls who were taken."

Jami wondered why he kept going back to that, "I don't either," She said with a shrug. It was then that their dinner had come out and she picked up her fork in order to begin eating, "What are you doing tomorrow after school?"

Tyler knew at that point there wasn't any use in continuing to press Jami for details so he moved on. "I don't have any plans... I had thought about seeing if Chialek wanted to go do something after school. I haven't decided yet," He said. "Why did you want to do something?"

Jami took a deep breath as she finished chewing what was in her mouth, "They just opened a museum in Barcombe. Do you want to go with me to see it? I'm not sure what's displayed there... Ancient Earth art or something like that."

"We can go after school it sounds like fun," He told her with a smile on his face. He took a bite, chewed, and swallowed. "Just the two of us?" He asked her.

"Yeah," Jami said. She hadn't spent much time with him and desperately wanted to do so. "Just the two of us if that's okay," She said.

"Of course it is," Tyler told her.

Jami grinned with relief that he wanted to go with her to a museum and that he had dropped the conversation. She didn't feel like talking about it with him over dinner, much less any other time. It was something she had to get through herself after all, "Great." She said and nodded.
